Departure day…

It is a beautiful day by the bay, of course, it had to be! We are headed England to do the Coast to Coast walk, from the Irish Sea the North Sea. It will be in the low 50s in Fahrenheit, windy and raining when we get to St. Bees, the starting point for the walk. But to get to St. Bees we have quite a number of connections to make:

• Meet with the woman who is house sitting and taking care of Conner, our dog.

• Catch the bus to Providence Station

• Catch the train to South Station, Boston

• Take the bus to Logan Airport, Boston

• Fly to Edinburgh, Scotland

• Take the tram from the airport to Edinburgh Station

• Catch the train to Carlisle

• Catch the train to St. Bees

Fingers crossed, we are looking to make all those connections and arriving in St. Bees tired but looking forward to lacing up our boots and start walking.
